<Visit of a Delegation from the Ministry of Education, Sultanate of Oman, to AIIS>

On Friday, May 22, AIIS welcomed a delegation from the Ministry of Education, Sultanate of Oman, sharing Korea's experience with digital transformation in education and examples of AI and educational technology applied in the classroom.

The visit was arranged for the Omani Ministry of Education to examine examples of education innovation using AI and digital technology and to explore possibilities for cooperation in related fields.

The meeting was attended by AIIS Deputy Director Kwak No-jun and Professor Lee Chang-gun, while the Omani delegation was led by H.E. Dr. Intisar bint Abdullah Al Ambusaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education.

The two sides exchanged views on AI-driven education innovation and digital transformation policy, and on examples of AI use in education, discussing the role of AI and educational technology in responding to changes in the future education environment.

They also held a wide-ranging conversation on international cooperation in education and talent development.

AIIS plans to continue expanding exchange with global education and research institutions and government officials, contributing to AI-driven education innovation and the building of an international cooperation network.
