<Opening Ceremony for the 5th AI Executive Program>

On March 24, AIIS successfully held the opening ceremony for the “5th AI Executive Program (AICEO).”

The ceremony was attended by AIIS Director Lee Jae-wook, Deputy Director for Planning Park Jin-ho, and Deputy Director for Research Kwak No-jun, along with Program Director Yoo Byung-joon (Graduate School of Business), Deputy Program Director Lee Kyogu (Graduate School of Convergence Science and Technology), and Deputy Program Director Choi Jun-won (College of Liberal Studies), among other key university officials, who encouraged the new cohort's fresh start.

Reflecting growing social interest in AI technology, this year's recruitment for the 5th cohort set a record-high competition rate. Through a rigorous selection process, 59 senior executives and managers from a range of industries were ultimately admitted to the program.

The event, opened by Program Director Yoo Byung-joon, featured welcoming and opening remarks by AIIS Director Lee Jae-wook, who shared his vision for the role of leaders and for education in the AI era.

The program runs for a total of 20 weeks, from March 24 to October 20. Taught by leading Korean AI faculty and industry leaders, the program will help participants build an in-depth network spanning both practice and academia through team projects and workshops.
