<2026 Yulchon AI Academic Research Project Presentation>

On July 3, 2026, AIIS held the “2026 Yulchon AI Academic Research Project Presentation” at Doyeon Hall, Nongshim Headquarters, with support from the Yulchon Foundation.

The presentation was organized to share the research vision and implementation plans of the projects newly selected for the 2026 Yulchon AI Academic Research Project.

At the event, Professor Ju Han-byul, Professor Lee Kyogu, and Professor Choi Jong-hyun of Seoul National University, along with Professor Ahn Sung-jin of KAIST, presented their research topics, academic significance, and future potential applications in AI source technology, and exchanged views with attendees.

The Yulchon Foundation has worked with AIIS since 2020 to support scholarships and research funding, contributing to the development of Korea's AI research ecosystem and the cultivation of future talent.

This year, the Foundation expanded its support by introducing a new scholarship for postdoctoral researchers; to date, its Yulchon AI academic research funding has totaled 1.87 billion won, with combined scholarship and research funding surpassing 3.2 billion won.

AIIS plans to continue expanding research into core AI source technologies and cultivating next-generation research talent in close cooperation with the Yulchon Foundation, contributing to building a world-class AI research ecosystem.
