<Special Research Forum during ICML 2026 Week>
On Friday, July 10, AIIS, in partnership with global AI company Simular, held the “AIIS × Simular Computer-Use Agents Research Forum (ICML 2026 Week Special Event).”
The forum was organized to coincide with ICML 2026, sharing the latest research trends and industrial applications in Computer-Use Agents (CUA) and fostering academic exchange between domestic and international researchers.
The forum introduced the latest research achievements and real-world industrial applications of Computer-Use Agents (CUA), a next-generation class of AI agents that understand and use computers much like humans do.
Presentations focused in particular on the core technologies and research directions needed to ensure the reliability, controllability, and safety of AI agents,
with in-depth discussion centered on a range of application cases.
The event also served to strengthen the joint research network between AIIS and Simular, and to expand the foundation for cooperation between domestic and international researchers and industry experts.
Following the presentations, attendees engaged in active discussion through Q&A and open floor sessions on the technical challenges, development directions, and research cooperation possibilities for Computer-Use Agents.
AIIS plans to continue expanding cooperation with leading global research institutions and industry, and to actively pursue international joint research and academic exchange in next-generation AI technologies including AI agents.
